As Managing Director, Joshua Sloan serves as a primary team leader for the region’s key leasing assignments. His responsibilities in this capacity include oversight of leasing activities related to approximately 4.5 million s.f. of space in the Central Business District and throughout the region.
Joshua has over 25 years of commercial Real Estate experience including Sales, Construction, Leasing Management, Project Management and Development. He joined JLL following its merger with The Galbreath Company. Before he joined Galbreath, Joshua served as the Senior Leasing Representative at the Rubin Organization, where he oversaw the leasing of a 3 million plus portfolio of Philadelphia CBD properties.
Joshua oversaw the leasing of Centre Square, a 1.8 million s.f. project, for 13 years. This building is currently 95% leased and Joshua brought the project from two down cycles, from 65% to 95% occupied. The Widener Building is another of his projects; and is 433,959 s.f. 98% leased after coordinating the relocation of the District Attorney’s office for over 250,000 r.s.f. The University of Pennsylvania is currently under management through Joshua, and includes approximately 850,000 s.f. Joshua Sloan has also represented over 1,000,000 s.f. of Tenants in the Market over the last 24 months.
During his 8-year tenure at The Galbreath Company, Joshua leased approximately 4 million square feet, earning repeat company recognition awards including the National Broker of the Year Award.
Education and Affiliations
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Clark University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Joshua is a member of NOFA, Habitat for Humanity and People Emergency Shelter.
