Marti Nemer is currently a Manager on the JLL Deployment Team in addition to being the team’s Transaction Advisory Services subject matter expert. This team leads the transition to JLL for new clients, and is comprised of subject matter experts in the full range of client services.
Marti joined the Deployment Team in January 2011 and has lead multiple transitions totaling in excess of 60mm square feet and over 5,000 locations.
With over 28 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marti has served a broad range of corporate clients and has played an integral role in master planning, major market consolidations, call center rollouts and site selection.
She joined the Dallas office of JLL in May 1996. As global account manager for one of the firm's major strategic alliance clients, Affiliated Computer Systems from August 2008, through September, 2010, she was responsible for overall portfolio management, including strategic planning, transaction management, facilities management, project management and lease administration in addition to managing a staff of 130 people globally.
She has extensive experience in lease negotiations having personally negotiated over 800 transactions comprising over 9 million square feet.
During the past 10 years, she has been responsible for the regional portfolios of Aetna, GSA, GM, MetLife, Microsoft and Sprint. Twice in the past six years, she has been named a Heavy Hitter in the Dallas Real Estate Market by the Dallas Business Journal.
Prior to joining JLL Americas, Martu managed the U.S. southern and western region portfolios for Electronic Data Systems at The Yeaman Companies and at Jones Lang Wootton.
Earlier in her career, she conducted land title research for mineral rights in eastern Oregon while working for a Houston-based oil company.
Marti attended Southwestern Adventist University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She holds the Broker of Record License for the firm in the States of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico and is an active member of The Real Estate Council, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, Dallas Women’s Foundation, Genesis Women’s Shelter and CREW Dallas, where she served as 2009 President.
