StoneGate Common will be a signature retail development comprised of approximately 1.5 million square feet when fully developed. 

Phase 1 of the project will be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2020 and will consist of 60,000 square feet of ancillary retail opportunities for mid box, restaurants, banks and CRUs. 

Future phases of the project will include Canadian Tire, Walmart and a further large format anchor in addition to mid box and other retail opportunities. 


    StoneGate Landing is located in the northeast quadrant of the city of Calgary bordered by Metis Trail to the east and Stoney Trail to the north.
    • The retail portion of the 1,100 acre master-planned StoneGate Landing Business Park, is sited at the corner of Metis Trail and 128th Avenue, 3 km north of Calgary International Airport (approximately 15 million passengers in 2012).
    • The site has direct access from Metis Trail (11,000 VPD) via Stoney Trail (22,000 VPD) and Country Hills Boulevard (17,000 VPD), which links the emerging neighbourhoods of Northeast Calgary.
    • The site will also be served by public transport as the Northeast Light Rail Transit extension has plans to build an LRT station within walking distance to StoneGate Common in the future.
